Christian Buttrose 
Managing Director - China

Christian Buttrose opened Lloyd Morgan Beijing office in 1995 making him one of the pioneers of the executive recruitment industry in China.  As early as 1993 he was undertaking PRC local search assignments for multinational companies operating in various locations throughout China. 

Since that time he has been intimately involved not only in recruitment but also in developing retention strategies, training and in general the whole human resource function as it applies to China, albeit as a consultant rather than a practitioner.  Christian obtained double degrees with a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Asian Studies from the Australian National University in 1989 and later studied at Nanjing Hopkins University in Nanjing, after being awarded the Australia China Council, China Trainee Scholarship.

Christian joined Lloyd Morgan in 1993 initially as a researcher but rapidly moved into a Consultant role and has worked on assignments for many of the major foreign invested companies in China.

Emily Foo
Managing Director – Singapore

Emily Foo has some 15 years of exposure in the banking, finance and investment industry in Hong Kong and Singapore.  She earned her B.A. in Economics at Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada.  Emily joined the company in January 2000.   She set up the Singapore office in July 2000 and the Malaysia office in April 2006. 

Prior to joining the company, Emily was heading the ASEAN equity institutional sales desk at BNP Peregrine Ltd, Hong Kong.  Before that, she marketed equity research products to institutional clients and private banking clients of the HSBC Investment Bank.  Her scope of exposure in the investment banking arena include stock analysis, research product development, corporate finance, fixed income and equity institutional sales. 

Emily brings to the company her broad knowledge of the Investment and Banking industry and her wide network of clients and business associates which include Commercial and Investment Bankers, Fund Managers, Research Heads and Analysts. 

At Lloyd Morgan, Emily will direct the Group’s growth in the South East and South Asian region as well as the Middle East as the leading Human Capital management and consulting company, offering a highly rigorous, externally assessed quality search methodology that is at the forefront of industry standards.

KC Gan
Principal Consultant - Malaysia

KC Gan has a total of 9 years experience in the recruitment/hr industry. He was a pioneer member of the sales & marketing team for JobStreet.com Malaysia the leading job portal in Malaysia.

He further expanded his scope into HR Consultancy by taking up a business development role with OmniView Consulting, the exclusive distributor of Harrison Innerview Assessment.

For the last 5 years KC has been specializing in providing executive search services for the ICT industry and is now heading the Malaysian operation of Lloyd Morgan Asia. KC has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Marketing & The Media (Murdoch University, Australia) and is an accredited user of Harrison Interview Assessment Tool.

Macy Kwok
Managing Director – Hong Kong

Macy holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Accounting & Financial analysis from the University of Warwick, is a Chartered Accountant (ACA), and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).  After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young in the UK, she returned to Hong Kong and joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Audit Manager.  In 1995, Macy decided to switch careers and moved into executive search specialising in the Banking & Finance Sector. 

Over the years, Macy has successfully placed numerous candidates in global financial institutions and other multinationals.  Prior to joining Lloyd Morgan (Hong Kong) Limited, Macy served as the Hong Kong Director for a global listed recruitment firm where she had full P&L responsibilities covering the Banking & Finance, Legal, Commerce and Information Technology sectors.

Michele Bosch
General Manager – Shanghai

Michele joined the Shanghai operation of Lloyd Morgan in the capacity of General Manager in June 2008. She has been a resident of China since 2006 and was previously working for a Dutch executive search firm in Shanghai focused on high level management within European companies. She has 13 years of experience in Staffing and Recruitment as a Consultant, Location Manager, District Manager and Business Development Manager. She also worked for 6 years for ING Bank 3 years as the department Manager of an IT Resource Centre for the ING group followed by 3 years as a Call Centre Manager for the biggest Dutch bank within the ING group. Michele graduated from the Post Higher Vocational Education (Post HBO) Intermediation for Professional Services in The Netherlands and completed a Management Science education in 2000.
