Job responsibilities:

  • Working with GEO IT Dir to initiate and influence relationships with and between key stakeholders, in hosting solution, architecture design and implementation of digital platforms and technology solutions to support the key data strategies and projects;
  • Identifies and responds to opportunities (including demand planning) for providing big data solutions and services to multiple functions, liaising with those responsible in own organization or partners in the delivery of the solutions. Work with The company expertise teams on any integration required to enterprise applications and technical support to help business to achieve its objectives;
  • Champions the use of data and data platforms including creating an easily replicable and flexible data infrastructure and act as the catalyst to educate and equip the China teams with the applications in big data, analytics, security and privacy;
  • Lead the delivery and deployment of global platforms and solutions in the assigned portfolio.  Works with those delivering and supporting the related applications (including local IT, Security, Enterprise Services and external suppliers where appropriate) to ensure the platforms, solutions and services are delivered cost effectively, meets requirements and standards.  Monitors costs, timescales and resources used, and takes action where these deviate from agreed tolerances. Ensures that delivered systems are implemented within these criteria and digital partners are delivering according to standards and requirements;
  • Work with business teams and IT/support functions and solution providers to track performance and effectiveness of cloud computing, data platform, and other related services, monitor and manage security risks in conjunction with global/local teams.

    • STAKEHOLDER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: develop and build relationships with and between key stakeholders, during the design, management and implementation of Digital and IT initiatives to support business change;
    • CONSULTANCY:  provision of advice, assistance, and guidance in any area associated with the planning, procurement, provision, delivery, management, maintenance or effective use of information systems and their environments to address business needs;
    • STRATEGIC APPLICATION OF IT SYSTEMS: develop/review digital marketing and IT systems strategy to support Marketing’s business goals and the development of plans to drive forward and manage that strategy.  Embed the strategic management of information systems as part of the management of the organization;
    • PROJECT MANAGEMENT: management of projects, typically (but not exclusively) involving the development and implementation of business processes to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality;

Essential:

    • In-market knowledge (relevant to the role) of IT and digital landscape, eCommerce, data management including CRM solution, web technologies, cloud computing, big data, IT security and data privacy, analytics etc.;
    • Knowledge of The company regional and global processes and initiatives in Marketing area;
    • Digital (web and mobile, etc.) technologies and applications in Marketing;
