(IT Vacancy) Manager of Digital Supply Chain

  • Our client is a global Fortune 500 manufacturing company with over 7000 IT end users in China  

 

Job responsibilities:

  • The Digital Supply Chain Manager, China, main focus area is the development and implementation of digital factory and supply chain projects in THE COMPANY China factories, include but not limit to Manufacturing Execution, Quality, Traceability, Maintenance and Supply Chain Management (SCM) functionalities
  • You will be leading the project team, including THE COMPANY internal team members and external vendors, in the development and implementation of solutions to specification, budget and schedule as approved by project steer committee. This solution or its selected modules will be implement in all THE COMPANY China factories, so you will be responsible for the planning, identify, coordinate and organize resources and project team when implement in different factories and phases
  • Interaction with Subject Matter Experts / plant users / various stake holders for AS-IS study of current landscape and define, design TO-BE plan for Digital Factory (e.g. MES, Quality, Traceability, PDM, Robotics), Supply Chain related solution roadmap to meet THE COMPANY China manufacture current and future needs
  • Participate in THE COMPANY Global Business Transformation Strategic Projects committee as THE COMPANY China champion to align business needs, functionality requirement, technical standard, etc.
  • Actively promote an innovative & creative climate in line with the overall China digital supply chain strategy
  • Plan, control, execution & delivery of solution development activities according to the roadmaps
  • Working with the Factory Manager to formalize the requirement specification, prioritize, budget and implement schedule
  • Lead factory project team for customization requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing and deployment of digital supply chain solution
  • Provide general digital supply chain functional consultancy to REP project for customer environment integration
  • Taking initiatives to increase efficiency. Finding and implementing effective ways of working eg Agility/Scrum

 

Requirements:

  • A degree in computing/engineering or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record and expertise in digital factory (Especially in MES, Quality Assurance, Traceability modules), supply chain solutions, integrated business planning, and IT-supported planning methods
  • Relevant experience in digital strategy deployment and use of, e.g., Web-based solutions, agile development, mobile application development, or digital architecture
  • Experience preferably gained in a project manager role in industry or alternatively from IT-focused consultancies
  • Previous successful team leadership experience
  • Good communication skills, and fluency in English, both written & spoken
  • Good influencing skills
  • Previous customer experience
  • Strong personal drive & commitment, be energetic & decisive, result oriented, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Experience with software development project management models e.g. Agility, Scrum
