Job responsibilities:

  • Overview & Presentation skill
  • Deep understanding of the corporate travel industry
  • Contributing to the formulation of actionable strategy recommendations relating to technology
  • Strong understanding of internal and external technology and tools
  • Working with and presenting recommendations to audiences of senior regional and global management
  • Facilitating strategy discussions in broader teams across businesses and functions
  • Demonstrates strong presence
  • Ability to create environment of trust and confidence amongst staff
  • Technology Management:
    Ensure that technology and systems are adequately documented
    The ability to assess and align with local and global teams on new and existing technologies
    Effectively implement technology and tools
  • Oversee portfolio of technology projects that impact their functional area using defined project management methodologies, effective communication with project champions/sponsors, and management of resources and other project constraints
  • Effectively prioritize and maintain control over assigned project tasks
  • Ensure that systems provide effective IT project governance and IT-oriented regulatory compliance
  • Responsible for the development, review, testing and certification of enterprise disaster recovery procedures and plans
  • Effectively share information pertaining to technology within their area of responsibility to their peers
  • Talent Management:
    Mentor and Develop employees for future positions of greater responsibilities
    Work closely with HR to streamline recruiting and on-boarding processes
    Develop process to monitor and manage turnover rates within teams
    Communicate and Enforce an open door policy to allow employees direct access regarding employment concerns

  • Bachelor degree or above
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in IT development management or technology management, at least two (2) years at management or supervisor level
  • Experience creating technical roadmaps
  • Proven multi-national knowledge of business travel management, supplier landscape and travel technologies
  • Excellent communication skills, oral, written and presentation
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Proven team leadership skills
